    Mrs. Margaret J. Kelley, 88, 1427 Tuley Road, died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in Mercy Hospital.
    She was born in Clay County, Ky., a daughter of John and Mazie Phipps McDaniel, and received her education in the schools of Rockcastle County, Ky.
    Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Red Hill Baptist Church, Livingston, Ky.
    In 1901, she married Smith Edward Kelley who preceded her in death in 1970.
    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Troy (Katherine) Townsend, Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Fred (Helen) Whitaker, Hamilton; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Webb Funeral Home, Ross Ave. and S. D. St. Burial will be in Millville cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

    Mrs. Katherine M. Townsend, 75, 817 April Lane, widow of Troy Townsend, Sr., died Saturday. A native of Rockcastle co., Ky., she lived in Hamilton, Ohio 29 years, moving to Tampa in 1953. She attended the Lutz United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughters, Inez Dittman and Faye Wheatley; a son, Troy Townsend, Jr., all of Tampa; sister, Mrs. Helen Whitaker, Hamilton, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 Sunday afternoon at the Swilley Funeral Home, 1602 W. Waters Ave. The remains will be sent to the Webb Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ohio, for services and interment Wednesday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.

    She is survived by her Children, Steve (Janis) Dittman, Keith (Kathy) Dittman, and Rick (Peggy) Dittman; 10 grandchildren, Sandra (Terrence) Dornford, Steven (Mary) Dittman, Rick II (Carla) Dittman, David (Ellen) Dittman, Chris (Brooke) Dittman, Nick (Kristen) Dittman, Dustin (Lauren) Dittman, Brian Dittman, Lacey (Mike) Coone, and Wade Rivers; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a brother, Troy Townsend Jr.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Dittman; a daughter, Claudia Lee Dittman; a sister, Faye Wheatley; and her parents.
    Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 12:30 PM with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the funeral home.

Faye worked as a school teacher for 38 years, and during this time she was selected twice as Sanders Elementary Teacher of the Year. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ellis Wheatley; son, Craig Wheatley and his wife, Jessalyn; sister, Inez Dittman; brother, Troy Townsend Jr. and his wife, Shirley; and several nieces and nephews. A service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, at Sunset Memory Gardens 11005 N. US Highway 301 Thonotosassa, FL 33592.

She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was a sweet, gentle, loving woman, who taught her family by example; true unconditional love, and servanthood. In 1942, in Laurel Co., KY, she married Edwin Whitaker, and he preceded her in death in 1979. In 1985, in Hamilton, she married Clyde Brake, and he preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by her children; Edwin (Glenna) Whitaker Jr., Renee (Mike) Croy, Nancy (Courtney) Profitt, Scott (Nancy) Whitaker, Margaret (Dean) Wilkerson, Mary (Dennis) Garland, Linda Byrd; son in law, Sevan Denham; 19 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph Whitaker and Ray Whitaker; one daughter Carol Denham; one grandson, Joey Gibson. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Joyce Whitaker of Edmonton, one son, Terry (Brenda) Whitaker of Edmonton, two daughters Susan (Gary) Hornek of Edmonton, Annie (Trey) Kullman of Louisville, one sister Mildred Brake of Ohio, five grandchildren Michelle Burcham, Sara Whitaker Shirley, Alayna Rea, Allison Rea, all of Edmonton, Mable Kullman of Louisville, three great grandchildren Eli Whitaker, Maya Shirley and Evie Sue Shirley, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was a member of BridgeWater Church in Hamilton and was a board member for Farm Service Agency, Reily Township Zoning Committee, and the Talawanda Athletic Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy Dittman, his sons, Chris (Brooke) Dittman and Dustin (Lauren) Dittman, his grandchildren, Luke, Molly, Regan, and Lila, brothers, Steve and Rick. He was preceded in death by his sister, Claudia, and his parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11 AM with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Reily Cemetery.
