      Funeral services for Mrs. Lavada Marcum, who died in Wysong Center, were held at 1 p.m. Friday in Crouch-Moore Chapel with burial in the Blue Ridge cemetery.
      She was born in Arkansas Oct. 30, 1881, the daughter of Isaac and Drucilla Hornsby Gabbard.
      Surviving are four daughter, Mrs. Della Nevil and Mrs. Florence Craford of McKinney; Mrs. Drucilla Stephens of Borger; Mrs. Faulkner of California; four sons, John Marcum of California; Walter and Henry Marcum of Texas City; Eddie Marcum of Houston; 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
