    • George Ira McCreary
      Berea, Ky., Jan. 10 – George Ira McCreary, who was nearing his 91st birthday, died at his home on Boone street, Saturday night. He was a veteran of the War Between the States. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. T.M. Hensley, Berea, and the Rev. Johnny Sparks, Manchester.
      Mr. McCreary is survived by seven children and a step-son, R.G. and J. McCreary, Corbin; H.C. McCreary, Mrs. Lee Jones and Mrs. John Rice, Burning Springs; Sam McCreary, Cincinnati; Mrs. Charles Hicks, Hamilton and Casper Flinchman, Berea.
