Service for Roy Ashton III, 22, of Silvis, are 11 a.m. Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline.
Burial is in Hampton Township Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Saturday.
Roy died Monday, May 24, 2004, at his home.
He was born July 24, 1981, in Rock Island, son of Roy and Becky Smith Ashton Jr. He graduated in 1999 from United Township High School and attended Black Hawk College, Moline.
Roy currently was working security at Tyson Food, Joslin. He enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, WWF, playing on the computer, but, most of all, his friends.
Survivors include his mother, Becky Ashton, Colona; sisters, Nicole Ficke, Bloomington, Ill., and Kaela Ashton, Colona; nephew, T. J. Ficke; grandmother, Eloise Smith, Moline; and many aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. He was precede in death by his father.
