      Neola Wanda Ashton, 68, of 211 2nd St., Green Rock, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1992, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis.
      Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hampton Cemetery.
      There is no visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
      Fairman Funeral Home, Green Rock, is in charge of arrangements.
      The former Neola Wanda Whitaker was born May 23, 1923, in Wapello, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Elsie Riemann Whitaker. She married Roy Ashton Oct. 28, 1943, in Kahoka, Mo. He died in 1970.
      Mrs. Ashton retired in 1983 from the dietary department at the former Lutheran Hospital, Moline.
      She enjoyed crocheting and bingo.
      Survivors include daughters, Pat Belowske, Colona, Vivian Michaelson, Hampton, Sandra Browne, East Moline, Nora Ashton, Green Rock, and Mary Howard, Denver; a son, Roy G. Ashton Jr., Hampton; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Helda Frazee, Green Rock.
