Notes - Verrold A. Wunnenberg
Mrs. Verrold A. Wunnenburg, 80, of 1209 S. Seventh, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Elm View Care Center.
The daughter of Gustave and Wilhelmina Ahlstrand, she was born January 21, 1899 in Monmouth, Ill. She married Villars H. Wunnenberg on November 26, 1919, Monmouth; he died in 1961.
She was a housewife and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors of America and the Zion United Church of Christ.
Surviving: two daughters, Evelyn Ball, San Diego, Calif, and Geraldine Voelker, Burlington; son Harold, West Burlington; sister, Violet Stephenson, Mediapolis; fourth grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Prugh’s Chapel, Rev. Dale . Hempen; Memorial Park cemetery. A memorial to the Zion United Church of Christ has been established.
