    Arthurs L. Kresge Called By Death
    Death of Arthur L. Kresge, 77, occurred last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert B. Mitchell, 39 Swallow street, Pittston, following a lingering illness.
    Mr. Kresge was born near Stroudsburg on August 11, 1874, and moved to Pittston with his parents when a small boy. The family home for many years was on Parsonage street and later the family moved to a farm in Duryea, the site of which is not the Kresge drift of the Kehoe-Berge Coal Company.
    Deceased was engage in the livery business for many years and was widely known and respected in the Greater Pittston area. His first wife, Emily Sweet Kresge, died in 1920 and his second spouse, Lucy Boyd Kresge, passes away last October. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Pittston.
    Surviving are two children: Mrs. Mitchell, Pittston; Harold J. Kresge, Bridgeport, Conn.; two grandchildren, Harold Mitchell and Billy Kresge and a brother, Howard N. Kresge of Bridgeport, Conn.

    Death of Isaiah Kresge
    Isaiah Kresge, age 72 years, a resident of this city for the past forty years, died Sunday at 12 o’clock after an illness of some months. Deceased was born in Stroudsburg and came to this city when a young man. He was employed as a market man, and has a wide circle of friends. He is survived by A.L. Kresge of this city, Ernest B. Kresge of Detroit, Howard Kresge, Charles Kresge and Mrs. Alfert Krum of New York, Mrs. Edna Cobb of Brooklyn, Mrs. Della Fabel of Delaware Water Cap, and Milton Kresge of Stroudsburg. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon from the home of his son, A.L. Kresge, on Market street at 2;30 o’clock. At 3 o’clock services will be held in the Water street Baptist Church, Rev. M.H. Jones officiating. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery.

    Death of Mrs. Hannah Kresge
    An esteemed resident of Pittston, Mrs. Hannah Kresge, widow of Isaac Kresge, passed away yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock, at the home of her son, Arthur Kresge, 37 Market street. Deceased has been enjoying good health but on Sunday took suddenly ill and passing away yesterday at noon. Death was due to complications. Deceased was born in Stroudsburg, and on June 3, 1851, was united in marriage to Mr. Kresge. In 1871 she came to this city and had resided here since that time. For a number of years the family conducted a farm in Duryea. She was a prominent member of the Water street Baptist Church, and also of Thalia Rebekah Lodge. Her husband died December 1, 1921.
    Surviving her are: Arthur L. of this city; Howard, of New York; Erles, of Detroit; also a half sister, Mrs. Carrie Took, of Stroudsburg, and three brothers, Elmer Hufford, of West Pittston; Henry, of Ransom, and Frank, of Bethlehem.
    Funeral announcement will be made later.

    Hannah's husband's name is incorrectly spelled as Isaac and his death incorrectly stated as 1 December 1921.

    It should be Isaiah, and date of death was March 1921
