Notes - MHR note: Bonnie graduated high school in 1925 in Hale, Missouri and studied at Maryville Teachers College and Arkansas University. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a Methodist.
[1] - Mrs. Bonnie Frances Hedges, 78, died Thursday evening at her home in Hale.
She was born Sept. 19, 1907 in Hale, a daughter of R. E. and May (Parker) Callaway.
Bonnie attended Maryville State Teachers College and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On December 17, 1927 she married Arthur Marion Hedges in Carrollton. They were the parents of 2 sons and 2 daughters.
Surviving are her husband, of the home; two sons, Arthur Marion Hedge Jr., Green Ridge; and Lyle Harold Hedges, Jefferson City; a daughter Bonnie Mae Hedges Greer, Stafford, Arizona; a sister, Mary Stephenson, DeWitt; eight grandchildren, and seven great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a child, Helen; two brothers, Eugene and Ralph Callaway, and a sister, Kaye Lyons.
The body of Mrs. Hedges was donated for research to the School of Medicine, the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Local arrangements were made by Norman-Wagy-Singer Funeral Home.
