Notes - Mike Moody
Mike Talmadge Moody, Sr., 67, of Jessamine County, died Monday, April 8 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, after a long illness.
He was a native of Jessamine County and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kathryne Overstreet Moody; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Ashcraft, Nicholasville; a son, Mike Moody, Jr., Nicholasville; two sister, Mrs. Nela Blankenship and Mrs. John Davis, Lexington and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Betts and West Funeral Home by the Rev. W.J. Arvin and the Rev. Billy C. Moody.
Burial was in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County.
Bearers were Ray, George and Hugh Moody, Fred Corman, William Reynolds and Jack Davis.
Honorary bearers were Raymond Wells, Homer Combs, Odis Peel, Alvin R. House, Sr., Claude Curtsinger, Leonard Bowman, Wyatt and Stanley Alexander Jr.
