- Raymond Ekstein Called By Death, Burial Saturday
Raymond J. Ekstein, highly respected Hamilton man, passed away at the home of his mother, Mrs. Elizbeth Ekstein, 910 Cleveland avenue, on Thursday at 1:30 a.m. of a complication of diseases following an illness of more than one year at the age of 30 years.
Mr. Ekstein was born in Hamilton June 30, 1894, and had been a resident of this city ever since. He was a machinist by trade and a trusted employe of the Niles Tools Works company. Fraternally, he was a member of the Walnut Aid society and the Niles Mutual Aid society.
He leaves to mourn his sad departure, the bereaved widow, Mrs. Ethel Ekstein, one daughter, Miss Beulah Ekstein, one son, Raymond Ekstein Jr., his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Ekstein, one sister, Miss Viola Ekstein and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the residence, 910 Cleveland avenue, on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with services at the Bethel church at 2:30, Rev. H.A. Dickman of that congregation officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call after 3;00 p.m. Friday.
