    • Mrs. Minnie O. Bachtel, 58, of 1434 Cleveland ave NW, widow of Lewis M. Bachtel, who died six weeks ago expired Sunday at her home. She was born near New Philadelphia and taught school at Bolivar and Wellington. She came to Canton 35 years ago.
      Mrs. Bachtel was a member of Simpson M.E. church, Foreign Missionary society, Elta Rebekah lodge, Naomi auxiliary and the Maccabees. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Albion Hedges; a son, Ralph M. Bachtel; her mother, Mrs. Lucinda Bigler, all of the home, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Pearce, of Youngstown.
