Notes - McMillen - James Albert McMillen, 74, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 34 years, died Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Lucy McMillen, of the home; daughters Marilyn Perry and husband, Gordon, Lavonna Holmes and husband, Gene all of Albuquerque and Edythe Kathleen Crook of McClenny, FL; a son, James Albert McMillen (Bud) and wife, Vickie also of Albuquerque; four granddaughters, Ursula Perry, Eula Holmes, Jayne Holmes, of Albuquerque, and Reta Crook of McClenny, FL; two grandsons, Jeff Holmes and wife, Ruth of Albuquerque and James Emery and wife, Donna of Killeen, TX; five great grandchildren; and two brothers, William McMillen and wife, Evelyn of Jeffersonville, IN and Donald McMillen and wife, Eileen of Bayboro, NC. He was the Chief Plumbing and Gas Inspector at City Hall, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a lifetime member of the VFW. Cremation has taken place. French Mortuary, 111 University NE, in charge of arrangements.
