Notes - Mrs. Laura A. Kirk, 78, of 354 Blackburn, widow of W.A. Kirk, died at 10 a.m. today at a local nursing home following a long illness.
She was a daughter of the late Laff and Almara Gilkerson Million. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Survivors include seven sons, William Kirk, Robert Kirk, Kirby Kirk and Benjamin Kirk, all of Lexington; James Kirk and Robert Kirk, Houston, Texas, and Greely Kirk, Knoxville, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Kemble, Lexington, and Mrs. Willard McKenzie, Wilmington, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Bishop, Lexington, and Mrs. Alma Kirk, Cincinnati; 23 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home.
