Darla is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Amber Jackson; husband, Alvin Duane Hedges and sister, Dell Raven. Darla is survived by sons Dirk and Dane Hedges; daughter, Diane B. Clark; five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Darla graduated from the University of Iowa in 1953 with a bachelors in Home Economics. She loved singing and Bingo and loved to travel. Darla was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Richardson, where she sung in the Goldenaire Choir.
