Notes - Mrs. Mary Matilda Hawkins
Mrs. Mary Matilda Hawkins, of Purdin, who had been ill at the Brookfield hospital, passed away Monday, March 5, 1923, at the age of 48 years. The survivors are the husband, Albert A. Hawkins, and two daughters, Alta and Wilma, of Purdin; the mother, Mrs. Sarah Newton and a sister, Miss Clara Newton, of Winigan; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Payne, of North Salem, and Mrs. Anna Graham, of Green City, and two brothers, Charles Newton, of North Salem, and William Newton, of Long Beach, California.
The funeral was from the Christian church in Purdin Tuesday, Rev. Mr. Underwood, of Milan, conducted the services.
