    • Mrs. J. G. Cassity Dies Here Sunday; Services Tuesday
      Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie G. Cassity, 71, wife of Dr. George H. Cassity of 853 DaIzell St., who died in a local hospital at 5:20 a.m. Sunday following a heart attack, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Osborn Chapel with Dr. William E. Wright, pastor of Kings Highway Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be N. R. Carstarphen, Jack Fontaine, Eddie Hughens, H. S. Lonergan, Rene Navarre, William D. Omohundro, Cecil Poss and W. Loren Meyers. Mrs. Cassity had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 45 years. She was a member of the Kings Highway Christian Church. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Cecile Brunazzi of Texarkana; a son, Maurice Cassity of Shreveport; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
