Notes - Mrs. Weniva Tipton
Funeral services for Mrs. Weniva Tipton, Wheeling, who died Monday at Hedrick Medical Center, were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Payne Funeral Home in Galt. Burial was in the Harris cemetery at Harris.
Mrs. Tipton was born June 19, 1895, at Wintersville, daughter of John W. and Margaret Lockard McLin. On June 2, 1015, she was married to William H. Tipton in Harris. He died Sept. 28, 1975. Mrs. Tipton was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Tipton, Wheeling; Donald Tipton, Coal Valley, Ill., and Hal P. Tipton, Newtown; three daughters, Betty Sims, Chillicothe; Willia Jean Simpson, Blue Grass, Ia., and Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Rowland, Trop, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.]She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a son, three brothers, two sisters, two half-brothers and a half-sister.
