Notes - Ruby Louise Purvis, 69, of Camden, Ohio, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Middletown Regional Hospital in Middletown, Ohio. Born May 7, 1937, in Bath County, Ky., she was the daughter of Floyd and Clara (Downs) Wills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Purvis, in 2001; a sister, Deloris Wills Kissick; and two brothers, Carl Wills and Paul Wills. Survivors include a son, Marvin Purvis of Camden; five daughters, Judy (Josh) Bird of Eaton, Ohio, Linda (Jay) Dearth of Trenton, Ohio, Pam (Mike) Lawson of Kingswood, Texas; Shirley (James) Carver of Camden, and Marlena (Steve) Pickleheimer of Miamisburg, Ohio; two brothers, Clay Wills of Monroe, Ohio, and Kenneth Wills of Preston, Ky.; two sisters, Mabel Deaton of California and Helen Chesterman of Winter Haven, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Friday, Feb. 16, at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, Ohio, with the Rev. Jerry Swint officiating.
