Notes - Ronald R. “Potts” Keaveny, Jr., age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born August 13, 1931 in Rainelle, WV a son of the late Ronald Ralph Keaveny, Sr. and Maude McClung Keaveny.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Loy and Tommy Keaveny and two sisters, Rebecca Darone and Louella Guy.
He is survived by one brother Gene Keaveny and wife Kim of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Joan Coughlin of Buckhannon; one sister in law Janice Keaveny of Kissimmee, FL; 12 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and great nephews and 6 great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Mr. Keaveny was a groundskeeper at the Rainelle Golf Course and was an avid walker of the Buckhannon River Walk. Friends will be received Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 1-2 PM the funeral hour at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at the Heavner Cemetery. [1]
