- Pacoima Man Dies of Auto Wreck Injuries
Russell Lee Clifton, 38, of Pacoima, died Monday of this week in Ventura General hospital from injuries which he suffered in an auto accident at Strathearn crossing of the SP railway, east of Moorpark on December 13. According to the report of the California Highway Patrol officer, the car which Russell was driving failed to make a curse on highway 118, ad hit the railroad crossing signal. His wife, Josephine, survives.

Services for Russell L. Clifton Sr, 38, were held today in Pierce Bros. Van Nuys Chapel. Mr. Clifton, 13052 Garber St., Pacoima, died Sunday. He leaves his wife, Josephine; two daughters, Virginia Hand and Sally Clifton; two sons, Larry and Russell Jr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clifton; six sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services for Russell L. Clifton, 38, building contractor, will be conducted today at 1 p.m. in Pierce Bros. Van Nuys Chapel, followed by interment in Valhalla Memorial Park. Mr. Clifton lived at 13052 Garber St., Pacoima, and died Sunday. He leaves his widow, Josephine: two daughters Virginia Hand and Sally Clifton; two sons, Larry and Russell Jr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clifton; six sisters, Ruby Freeman, Mrs. John Garhart, Mrs. Paul Schuster, Mrs. Bill Loehner, Mrs. Richard Aboumrad and Mrs. Allen Weinstein, and two brother, Rex and Charles Clifton.
