    • Ex-Shreveporter Succumbs in N.O.
      Daniel Collier, a former Shreveport resident, died unexpectedly at his home in New Orleans Thursday. Funeral arrangement at Osborn Funeral Home here are incomplete.
      Mr. Collier was a member of the Episcopal church and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon social fraternity. He was the husband of the late Mary Cecile Collier of Shreveport. Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ella King Collier of New Orleans; one daughter, Eleanor Cecile Collier, a student at Louisiana State University; and one sister, Mrs. Hugh Whitaker of Venezuela.
      Burial is to be in Forest Park cemetery.
      The Times, Shreveport, Louisiana. Friday, 19 October 1956.
