    • Entered Into Rest
After a lingering illness extending over a year Mrs. N.L. Powell passed to her reward Saturday and was laid to rest in the cemetery at Magnolia church yesterday, the services being conducted by Rev. J.M. Reagan. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Gibson and was in her 52nd year. She was married to N.L. Powell and to this union were born five boys and four girls. Her death was from nervous trouble and she bore uncomplainingly her suffering. She was an excellent woman, a loving wife, a devoted mother whose days and years were entirely given over to the education and culture of her children. She was a member of her Redeemer’s kingdom.
The funeral was largely attended by her friends and neighbors.
