Glen "Sheeny" DAULTON, 60, of 617 Madison Street, died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday in the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he had been a patient approximately two weeks. He had been in failing health for a year.
Mr. Daulton was born Aug. 13, 1919 in Rochester to Charles and Lucy SHAFER DAULTON. He had lived most of his life in Rochester. He was married Nov. 15, 1947 in South Bend to Betty TULLIS, who survives. He was a painter. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Rochester American Legion.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Delos (Christine) MARTIN, South Bend; a son, Steve [DAULTON], Rochester; two granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Barbara) SWAIN, South Bend, and Mrs. Stewart (Velma) VIGUS, Los Angeles; four brothers, Joe [DAULTON], Fort Wayne; Ben, Dale and Wayne, all of Rochester.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home with the Rev. Teal YOUNCE officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Friday and until the hour of service Saturday. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Rochester American Legion Post.
