    • Mrs. Essie Weidner
      Delphi – A former rural Delphi woman died Sunday at Somerset, N.J. She was Mrs. Essie J. Weidner, 82, who had moved there from Delphi Rt.1 seven years ago.
      Born in Illinois, she was married to Benjamin R. Weidner, who died in 1985. She was a member of the Rose Chapter, Order of Eastern Star at Delphi and the Royal Neighbors Club of Cissna Park, Ill.
      She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry K. Clark of Somerset, N.J., and a brother, Cecil Boyce of Lafayette.
      Journal and Courier, Lafayette, Indiana. Tuesday, 4 September 1973.

      LKH Note: All other records show her name as Effie. Typo in newspaper obituary shows it incorrectly as “Essie”.
