      Services for Rufus I. Pruitt, 69, 3305 West Washington street, who died Monday in City Hospital after a brief illness, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Conkle funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Park cemetery. A life resident of Marion county, Mr. Pruitt was a member of the Methodist church.
      Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Emma Pruitt; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Helen Hudson; two grandchildren, Wilma Higdon and Ruth Brandenburg; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Duncan, of New Augusta, and two brothers, Bud Pruitt and William Pruitt, of Clermont.
