Notes - Betty Jane Page
Rushville, Mo. – Betty Jane Page, 55, died Wednesday night at her home near Rushville of an apparent heart attack.
A lifelong resident of Northwest Missouri, Mrs. Page was a former employee of Ramsay’s Department Store at Atchison, Kan., Bell Telephone Co., and most recently the Rushville State Bank, where she retired in 1978 after 19 years of service. Her memberships included the Sugar Creek Christian Church, North Platte Extension Club, and the Levonia Chapter No.85 OES at De Kalb, Mo., where she was past matron. She was also an officer in the St. Joseph Diabetes Association.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Lee page of the home; one son, J.W. Page, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; her mother, Lydia M. Gilkison, Atchison; one sister, Lydia Willis, Bean Lake, Mo., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sawin-Dyer chapel in Atchison. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery at Rushville.
Visitation will be this evening from 7 until 8:30 at the chapel.
