    • Scott Moody Dead. – After lingering for a long time with a paralytic affliction, Scott Moody, of Hillsboro, died at 6 o’clock a.m. last Thursday. Mr. Moody formerly lived on Three Lick in Rowan county and was Sheriff of Rowan. He had been living at Hillsboro fifteen to twenty years. Mr. Moody was a good, substantial citizen, standing well wherever known. He leaves a number of children, among them Mrs. Foster Freeman and Mrs. Mota Faris, widow of William Faris. He was aged about 65 years.
      Owingsville Outlook, Owingsville, Kentucky. Thursday, 6 August 1903.
