    • BROOKS Clayton L, Jr, 80, husband of Edna Million Brooks, died Sun, Aug 23, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Clayton L. and Elizabeth Jane Courtney Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a foreman for General Electric Glass Plant where he retired after 43 years of service and was a member of Northview Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Brenda (Gary) Stamper and Joy (Gayle) Neal; three granddaughters, Tracey (Ernie) Richardson, Ashley Stamper, and April (Daron) Stephens; and two brothers, Paul Brooks and Tom Brooks, all of Lexington, KY. Funeral services will be 2:30pm Wed at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Rev. Terry Murphy. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9pm Tue at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Northview Baptist Church, 1742 Bryan Station Road, Lexington, KY 40505.
