    • Lula M. Petero
      Monticello – Mrs. Lula Mae Petero, 88, of 2714 W. Shafer Drive, Monticello, died at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday in Monticello Community Healthcare Center. She had lived there since May.
      Born in Clear Creek, Ind. May 22, 1899, she had resided in Indianapolis most of her life, and moved to Monticello in 1955. Her marriage was June 15, 1928, to Homer Petero, who survives.
      Mrs. Petero was a member of Zion Bethel Church in White County, and was active in Ladies Aid at the church several years.
      Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Jean Wiseman of Beech Grove, Patricia Petero of Monticello, and Mrs. Judy Kikkert of St. John, Ind.; and one son, William Sinkhorn of Columbus, Ind.
