Notes - Gerald Lee Roberts, husband of June Chapman Roberts, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. He was a 74 year old native of Bath County, son of the late Ora and Roberta Wills Roberts, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired employee of the Bluegrass Army Depot as well as a retired emergency manager, and a member of the Antioch Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Stacy (Brian) Ballard, a son, Brian (Missy) Roberts, 4 grandchildren, Logan and Trevor Roberts, and Spencer and Blaine Ballard, a brother, James (Barbara) Roberts, and a niece, Lora (Lee) Dunnan.
His funeral will be 11:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, pastors Rick Stafford and Jason Toller presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00-7:00 Sunday. Pallbearers are: Logan Roberts, Trevor Roberts, Blaine Ballard, Spencer Ballard, Mike Keith, and Mark Chapman. [2, 3]
