      Lorena Gaines of 1935 NW 20 St., Miami, formerly of Huntington W.Va., died Tues. in a Pontiac, Mich. hospital while visiting daughter, Mrs. Joyce O’Neill in Union Lake, Mich. Funeral services Sat. 2 P.M. Beard Mortuary, Rev. William Plybon. Burial Ridgelawn Cemetery in Huntington, W.Va. Survivors include son Ruffner G. Bright, St. Louis Mo. daughter Mrs. Frances Stell, Rahway, N.J., Joyce O’Neill, Union Lake, Mich. Sister, Mrs. Robert Scott, Cincinnati, Ohio. Brothers Floyd Gaines, Hammersville, Ohio. Harold Gaines, Dayton, Ohio, Eugene Gaines, Fairborn, Ohio. 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Member of Allapattah Baptist Church, Miami, also member of Temperance Union, Huntington Mothers Club, Navy Mothers, Army Mothers, VFW Auxiliary, Huntington City Mission Auxiliary. In Lieu of flowers family requests contributions be made to the Huntington City Mission or the Allapattah Baptist Church.
