Notes - Dorothy M. Hershberger (nee Brooks) Age 78, of Speedway, passed away Friday, May 27, 2005. Dorothy retired from Kohl's. She was a member of Speedway American Legion Post #500. Dorothy loved gardening and received the most beautiful yard award from the Mayor several years ago. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1 at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, with calling there 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Murl D. Hershberger. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Arlene Hershberger and Brenda Below; 5 grandchildren, Steven, Jill, Amy, Cherie and Tracy; 4 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters.
