Carmen E. Lytle, 67, Gravois Mills, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 1997, at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 8, at Mount Moriah and Freeman Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Westlake Christian Church, Laurie, MO.
Carmen was born January 22, 1930, in Purdin, MO. She was a member of Westlake Christian Church, Laurie, MO. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 410; Versailles, MO, and the American Legion Auxiliary #624, Sunrise Beach. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Robert A. Lytle, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Rob & Kelley Lytle, Lee’s Summit, MO; stepson, Robert W. Schmidt, Scottsdale, AZ; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Michael H. Skeens, Kansas City, MO, Carmajean and Troy Pfeifer, Lee’s Summit, MO, and Patricia Lee Lytle, Marshall, MO; brothers, Gale and Jerry Hedges, Browning MO; and seven grandchildren. Arrangements: Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Chapel.
