Notes - Rebecca Hunt was born in Morgan county, Kentucky, October 30, 1842. She was united in marriage to W.J. Holland October 28, 1863. To this union were born nine children, two of whom, Willie B. and Martha E., preceded their mother to the great unknown. She united with the church in her early childhood and remained an active worker as long as her health permitted. She came to Kansas from Kentucky in 1885, where she has since lived, making warm friends without number. She was a true friend, a kind, affectionate mother and a faithful wife. Her example has been worth much to the world and her many acts of kindness will not soon be forgotten. She died at her home in Blue Mound Thursday morning, April 3, and was laid to rst in Pleasant View cemetery. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of their wide circle of acquaintances.
