Notes - H. T. Flowers, 35, Former Resident, Killed in Wreck
Herschel T. Flowers, 35, a former resident of New Castle, residing in Springfield, MO., was killed in an automobile accident Monday near Dexter, MO. Mr. Flowers was a veteran of World War II and the home address was 330 N. West Ave., in Springfield, MO., details on the fatal accident were received here.
He is survived by the wife, Mrs. Marge Flowers and six children, Jerry, Sherry, Michael, Mary, Sandra and Timothy, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Della Flowers of this city; a sister, Mrs. Ardell Saunders of New Castle and two brothers, Harold Flowers of Anderson and Marshall Flowers of Noblesville.
The body is being directed to the Stanley mortuary where friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ on S. 14th St., with Elder Gene Warman of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
