    • Jerry was born to Hershel and Thelma Flowers and had three siblings - Michael, Sherry and Mary. He graduated from New Castle High School in 1955 and Anderson College (Indiana)in 1968.

      Jerry and Ardith DeYoung were married July 1, 1961 in Anderson, Indiana. Their children were Terrance and Tamara. He also had eight grandchildren who dearly loved him.

      Jerry worked as a brick mason for 12 years and was also a minister serving churches in Texas, Oregon, California, Colorado, Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan and Arkansas.

      In 2001 he retired to Thompson's Station Tennessee.
