Services for Mrs. Jean Hedges, 76, of 1618 Fairmount, will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Central Christian Church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. She died Monday.
A lifetime Wichita resident, she worked as a Red Cross volunteer, involved in transcribing reading material into Braille, from 1965 to 1971.
Her husband, Rev. Arthur, died in 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Thayne Hedges, Enid, Okla., and Howard L. Hedges, Wichita; a daughter, Mrs. Thabine Maytum, Wichita, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Ash, Wichita.
Gill Mortuary has charge.
