Lottie H. Edwards, 86, formerly of 1324 Shady Lane, Mooresville, died Friday afternoon at Grandview Nursing Home. She had been a resident of the home for five years and had been ill for six years.
The daughter of Tulley and Anna Hedges Otis, she was born in Indianapolis Oct. 9, 1897. She was married to Raymond Edwards in 1910, and he is deceased.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Spaulding of Mooresville and Ruby Barrett of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Edwards had lived in Morgan County for 22 years. Her funeral will be Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. The Rev. Ted Rigdon will officiate, and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call at Carlisle's from 2 to 5 and 7 to9 p.m. on Sunday.

Mrs. Evelyn J. Hudson, 24 years old, a resident of Indianapolis all her life, died Saturday at her home, 2151 North Harding street. She was the wife of Melvin Hudson.
Survivors are the husband, three children, Robert Wallace Hudson, Mary Ann and Janice Lee Hudson; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Edwards; two grandmothers, Mrs. Hassie Edwards of Augusta and Mrs. Anna Otis of Indianapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Barrett of Indianapolis and Mrs. Betty Spaulding of Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon in the Conkle funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.

She was born October 12, 1921 in Indianapolis to the late Raymond and Lottis Otis Edwards. Betty married Robert T. Spaulding on March 19, 1937 in Indianapolis. He passed away on May 16, 2002. Survivors include daughters, Jeanne Spaulding, Sandborn, Suellen Wood, Sandborn, Rebecca Shannon, Coatesville and Karen (Bill) Patterson, Indianapolis; sons, Wallace (Jane) Spaulding, Mooresville and Phillip (Cindy) Spaulding, Gosport; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Hudson and Ruby Barrett. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 25 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 24 at the mortuary.
