Notes - Jeanne "Betty" E. Spaulding 85, Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, passed away Friday, September 21, 2007. She was born October 12, 1921 in Indianapolis to the late Raymond and Lottis Otis Edwards. Betty married Robert T. Spaulding on March 19, 1937 in Indianapolis. He passed away on May 16, 2002. Survivors include daughters, Jeanne Spaulding, Sandborn, Suellen Wood, Sandborn, Rebecca Shannon, Coatesville and Karen (Bill) Patterson, Indianapolis; sons, Wallace (Jane) Spaulding, Mooresville and Phillip (Cindy) Spaulding, Gosport; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Hudson and Ruby Barrett. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 25 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 24 at the mortuary. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial gifts have been suggested to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana Memorial Fund. www.singletonmortuary.com
