Nellie Coomer Million, 81, Lexington, widow of Darnell Million, died Thursday, May 13, 1999 at Darby Square Nursing Home. A native of Lee County, she was a daughter of the late Bradley and Bertha Branson Coomer. She was a member of Gardenside Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Delores M. Holmand and Grace M. and Jack C. Million, all of Lexington; three granddaughters, Laura H. Clarkson, Louisville, Amy G. Holman, Lexington, and Donna M. Vaughan, Bloomington, IN; two grandson, Michael R. Holman, Nicholasville, and Jay Million, Lexington; seven great grandchildren, Breanna, Colton, and Emily Holman, Jordan and Jarred Million, and Austin and Carter Vaughan; three sisters, Mary E. Harris, Evelea Sharpe, and Ruth H. Bryant, all of Lexington and a brother, R.C. Coomer, Lexington. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by the Rev. Craig Yates and the Rev. Philip Vaughan. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Russell Bev Harris, Jim H. Fugate, Troy Coomer, Wayne Coomer, Roy Honican, Steve Honican, and Richard “Dicky” Cornish. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
