    • Joan Louise {Crum} Brazelton, 91, of Chrisman, found eternal rest at 10:43am, Thursday, February 13, 2020, at her home. She was born on July 31, 1928 the daughter of Joseph T. and Nola G. {Dennison} Crum. On June 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Virgil William "Bill" Brazelton in Brocton, IL. He will miss her dearly. They have celebrated 72 years together and he still carries her high school picture in his wallet.

Joan will also be missed by her three children, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren located from Illinois to Ohio to Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and four sisters.

Joan retired from Peterson Puritan Aerosol Plant. She enjoyed making quilts by hand and playing cards with the family. She was known for her home-made noodles at family reunions. She and Virgil were members of the First Church of Christ in Georgetown.

A Graveside Service will be held at Franklin Cemetery, Chrisman, IL. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Eastern Illinois Food Bank.
