I found that the California Death Index on Ancestry shows two records for Margaret, one with the last name Schafer and the other with her married name, Decious. She married Donald O. Decious on 4 Oct 1950 in Contra Costa County, California. I found a short newspaper article in The Lima News (Lima OH), dated 08 May 1964, that gave her last name as Decious and mentioned her survivors, including her daughter Machel. There was no mention of her husband. Since she was buried under her maiden name, she was probably divorced. [2]
