Notes - Shelva J. Hiltner, 73, of Continental, died 2:15 pm Saturday, September 25, 2010 at her residence. She was born May 30, 1937 in Defiance to the late Urban and Pauline (Miller) Speiser. In March, 1955, she married John Wesley Hiltner. He died September 4, 2003.Surviving are 2 children: Jeff (Jill) Hiltner of Ashland, Tammy (Rod)Herman of Continental; 1 brother: Terry (Mary) Speiser of Continental;2 step-brothers: Robert (Cheri) Taylor of Defiance and Richard (Kelli)Taylor of Palmetto, FL; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Shelva also preceded in death by a son: John Nicholas "Nickie" Hiltner.
Mrs. Hiltner worked at the ASC office in Ottawa. She was a member of North Creek United Methodist Church, North Creek, Oh.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010, 7:00 pm at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, with Pastor Charles Eagle officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, 11:00 am at Monroe Cemetery, Continental.
