      The Hawk Eye

      Anna Sexton, 69, of Luther Manor, Dubuque, died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, January 21, 1991, at Mercy Hospital, Dubuque.

      Born May 11, 1921, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Pimolin and Kathryn Williams Smith. She married Harold Sexton May 3, 1941, in Burlington. He died in October 1990.

      She was an insurance clerk at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, retiring in 1982.

      She was a member of the American Business Women.

      Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joyce (Charles) Vesey, Muscatine; two sons, David Sexton, Dubuque, and Major Dennis D. Sexton, Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren.

      The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Egelhof Funeral Home in Dubuque.

      The service for Mrs. Sexton will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Egelhof Funeral Home in Dubuque. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Burlington. [1, 2]
