      Mary V. Baire, 82, of Davenport, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Genesis, West Campus, Davenport. Memorial Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist, Davenport. Mary’s body was donated to the Deeded Body Program of the University of Iowa. Arrangements are by Weerts, Davenport.
      She was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Wapello, Iowa, to Raymond and Mary Parish. She married James Baird in 1943. He died in 1993.
      Surviving are daughter, Deborah (William Bichel, son, James David Baird, both of Davenport; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers.
